Advanced Directional Drilling and Fishing Operations
Course Overview:
This course details the necessary basics for the planning and construction of directional, horizontal and multilateral wells. Those trained will be able to manage UTM and grid coordinates, wellpath designs and specifications of bottom hole assemblies (BHAs). Aspects of survey calculations, estimation of errors and directional techniques also form part of the drill. Participants will acquire skills on the evaluation of fishing operations and choice of right tools during well intervention. Practical work and case studies will improve practical skills. Suitable for drilling engineers, completion engineers and personnel from service companies.
